For our second Storytime Friday with Guardians of the Heart and the Westchester Children’s Museum, we’ll read Hear Your Heart and Me and My Amazing Body, two fun and educational books that teach kids about how the heart works and why it's so important to take care of it.

After storytime, children will sculpt their own hearts using Play-Doh, adding creative touches like veins and arteries with pipe cleaners. They can also shape a favorite healthy food out of Play-Doh, reinforcing the connection between good nutrition and a strong heart.

This hands-on activity helps young learners connect science with play in a fun, memorable way.
