For our third Storytime Friday with Guardians of the Heart and the Westchester Children’s Museum, we’ll explore how healthy choices support a happy heart through the books Ali’s Healthy Heart and The Magical Foods. These stories introduce kids to the idea that what we eat and how we live can help keep our hearts strong.

Afterward, kids will work in small groups to color oversized, heart-themed murals with prompts like “What Makes My Heart Happy,” “Healthy Heart World,” and “The Journey of Blood.”

This collaborative art experience encourages teamwork, creativity, and a deeper understanding of emotional and physical heart health.
