Why CPR Matters:
Survival Rates: When performed immediately, CPR can double or even triple a person’s chances of survival after cardiac arrest.
Quick Action Saves Lives: Almost 70% of cardiac arrests happen at home or in public places, meaning you could be the one to make the difference in someone’s life.
CPR Success Rate: Studies show that survival rates are significantly higher when CPR is started before emergency medical services arrive.
Highlights Include:
CPR Training: Led by ProjectADAM, get hands-on experience in performing CPR and learn how to respond to emergencies with confidence.
Blood Pressure Screenings: WMCHealth will offer free blood pressure screenings to help you stay on top of your health.
Track Team Involvement: Scarsdale High School’s track team will be promoting fitness and wellness while encouraging you to take part in this important event.
